The Roots - Game Theory

Stalwarts of the hip hop genre, The Roots have for the last decade consistently released good music, if slightly one dimensional.

Taking a big leap forward, Game Theory deals with much darker and more serious subject matter than previous releases, and the band have come off better for it.

Consistently delivering throughout, and flowing as a complete package, Game Theory showcases the deep thinking and creativity that the band are capable of.

A rewarding listen from start to finish, with more to find on further listens, the album is highly recommended, especially in the era of commercially structured and shallow hip hop albums that we seem to live in.
