Episode 43 - Ghosts!

This podcast has a theme...

1. Francis Plagne - A Boat Called Ghost
A jangly number from the Melbourne instrumentalist.

2. The Berg Sans Nipple - Ghost
Nipple?

3. Band Of Horses - Is There A Ghost
From their latest offering Cease To Begin.

4. Ghosts Of Television - City Of Painless Childbirth
The sole reason we wanted to do this podcast was to play this song. It's the latest 'single' from the Sydney outfit who are surely going to do a lot of special things in 2008. It was delivered to our lair in lovely CD-R format with homemade artwork. The song will also feature on an upcoming EP, which should be available sometime in the first couple of months of the year.

5. Black Lips - I Saw A Ghost (Lean)
From their latest album Good Bad Not Evil.

6. Air - Ghost Sound
Our rule of including a single atmospheric French song in every podcast was once again observed.

7. Ghostface Killah - Mighty Healthy
Anyone can pull out 'hot new shit' on demand. It takes some real ballz to pull out some 'super old dope shit'. From Ghost's 2000 album Supreme Clientele.

8. Burial - Ghost Hardware
Burial are a band that are born and praised within the borders of the internet. If they hadn't made a song with the word 'ghost' in the title we probably never would have included them on a podcast. From the new album Untrue.

9. The Unicorns - Tuff Ghost
Fucking brilliant track from the slightly strange and now defunct Canadian group. From their Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone album.

10. Holy Ghost - Hold On
Latest single from the DFA dancey-dance electronic bubblers.

11. Ghostland Observatory - Heavy Heart
Latest single from the dancey-dance fucking wigout nutcases.

12. Tegan and Sara - Walking With A Ghost (Party Ben mashup version)
An old single with some dancey-dance bits from Ben, who likes to party and mash songs together.

13. Sparklehorse - Ghost In The Sky
Mellowish grunge?

14. [special bonus song]
Oh, how very secret of youse.
