oh jonny. that is a tragic story.

after being denied outside the hoey we got pizza and sulked, then went to the townie and sulked some more. then somehow we got into the come together afterparty (even though we didn't go to come together), got really trashed and did synchronised swimming dance moves to rock lobster. so the night wasn't a complete loss.

Yeah someone has stuck all the gig info on the front of Primary Colours, so anyone that goes to play it will automatically mention the show...our last song is always ECSR so I've already mentioned it twice, I guess if it sells out you have permission to punch me in the arm.

it was honestly amazing. we somehow pushed our way to the VERY FRONT so we were actually standing on the front step of the stage. it was a serious mosh, very intense. I made contact with a guitar at one point.

highlights: cool icecream, which way to go, memory lane, insufficient funds, precious rose, GET UP MORNING.

also alicia took photos on her jack white holga. they are bound to be brilliant.

ALSO. I bought a t-shit. win!

you can often judge the quality of a gig by the urgency of finding a convenience store directly afterwards to buy deodorant. we smelled baaaaad.

oh, but we had also been thoroughly warmed up by peewee. I love those guys!

Seymour

How was the condition of Alicia's dress??? Repairable?

"We'll be turned on" was a definite highlight for me.

bella

haha oh yeah, eddy current broke alicia's dress too! we had to go buy safety pins... it's definitely repairable though.

Eddy Current Suppression Ring are playing a show at the Excelsior Hotel tonight with Legends Of Motorsport and The Disbelievers. The 100 pre-sale tickets were snapped up in a flash and, if it's anything like last time they were in town, the remaining 150 door tickets will more than likely disappear pretty quickly also. #
