yes.. he was well enough to email.. i think it just affected his fighting skills.. which are essential for all tucker b's performances... dying to hear their new stuff though

arias... hm... i always end up throwing something at the tv.. who is the act that is going to win all the awards this year? i mean.. whose turn is it..? living end?

I think this year the industry is trying to show how cool it is; I'm going with Presets.

Last year they were trying to show how indie they were so they gave one to Gotye, even though it was for a remix album as they had overlooked the proper album the previous year.

eddy current aren't even going i don't think.. would be great if they win though.. but i think the bookies have them at about a 1000 to 1 chance..

I feel like I missed the point in time when the living end record was considered to be remotely good. I thought it would be the year of The Presets, but apparently the living end are still relevant.

Did anyone manage to catch their phenomenal NRL Grand Final performance? I'd always felt their live show lacked BBQ-dancing.

i saw the nrl grand final appearance.... i get the feeling living end have the kind of fans that would call people who dress like living end (eyeliner etc) 'fags' if they saw them out at their local rsl..

is there anything worth watching the arias for tonight?

Yeah, Nick Cave's speech last year was great.

I'm gonna tune in to see if The Presets open with My People. Other than that there isn't much point in sitting through three hours of Hamish and Andy, Living End accpetance speeches and Pink....all with commercials.

I'm really glad The Presets scored best album. And yeah, their costumes were so great, kinda got the vibe they were taking the piss, or at least they let my thoughts take that route. They do irony well, The Presets they do.

Other than those instances, I pretty much wanted to gouge out my eyes, so at least they would match the set of bleeding ears I got from listening to Gabriella Cilmi speak.

only watched the arias for an hour.. worst hour of my life... who the hell is this gabriella chick and why did she win all the awards when she can't even sing?? even her normal talking voice sounds awful... I switched off when she won the best female, couldn't bare to hear another acceptance speech from her

I think each year I forget how bad the arias are.. until I tune in...

I hate the way they give the awards each year to only a handful of people... there's plenty of aust music out there... share them around
