Cat Cat
Trees

Yeah, I'm going down. Acknowledgement of your impending disintegration is two-thirds of the law. Not the heavy hands that enforce lockouts, badly constructed mandatory sentences and skull-crushing legislation, but the strict guidelines that govern your own specific circumstances. What makes me/you who we really are. Yes, I'm specifically rounding-out the edges and stretching this one out to fit the topic of National Identity. Again. And while, on this occasion, it's largely reinforced by the attached accent, there's still something uniquely Australian at play here. All perfectly unassuming and modest. Blunt lyrics and small glimmers of hopefulness. She'll be right. We'll be right. Once we stop spinning out, and get through this muddy patch.

Trees is the first new track by Cat Cat to emerge since their fantastic 2011 debut, Uralba. The Canberra/Melbourne lads are currently prepping a bunch of new songs — which will presumably/hopefully be packaged into a record of some sort — as well as a short tour in promotion of this new single.
