The World Is Ours
Today was a big day for old mate Cathy "Call Me" Kerrigan, but much like Harry, the blonde-haired lout that she's affectionally named herself after, it's all in a days work for an Uncrowned Pop Princess. Of course, I'm speaking solely of the tabloid press surrounding her wisdom teeth removal and the understandable difficulties this incident will have on her diamond-encrusted future musical endeavors and the negative press onslaught endured when Alfred "Griggsy" Griggernaut is forced to take over Singing Duties on the upcoming album launch tour*. And it's just a pure coincidence that today was also the day Cat's new single, The World Is Ours — presumably a good old-fashioned Beef Track aimed at Kelis' former weedcarrier slash Milkshake Yard Attendant, Nasir Jones — hit your Soundclouds.
The World Is Ours is the second single from the standout Pop album of 2012/2013, The Warmest Place, due out on May 4 via Ivy League. The Search For The Warmest Place Tour (spoiler: it's under the wing of Alleycat El Griggo) runs throughout May.
