Childish Gambino
Flight Of The Navigator

Paint that bedspread in technicolor yawns, one smear for every subtlety different flavour of the Johnnie Walker rainbow. Dream of being pain-free like that Above The Rim soundtrack. Urgh, let's not tangle our damaged mainframes with those complicated metaphors. Not yet anyway. Just source out the more calming parts. Tis the season for much misbehaviours, such hangovers, and tough Mondays. Luckily, it's also the time of year for a new record by Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover, that guy that turned his back on a successful sitcom life to pursue rap and rap-related, Tumblr-sponsored memes.

Here Gambino provides a suitably calming sensation for our currently cluttered craniums. Impatient, Frank Ocean complexes and perfectly numbing. A beautiful swirling mess, wilderness lost and spaceship gazing. And, yeah, I can see G-Lover playing the part of David Freeman if they ever get that Flight Of The Navigator remake into production. Good point mate.

From Because The Internet, available now, eh, on the Internet. And iTunes. Consumed with the record's accompanying 75-page screenplay isn't essential. Great URL though.
