Dead Farmers
Spit/Shine

Pretty much every decent Dead Farmers song (ie. all of 'em) sound like they belong somewhere between the swamp and the train tracks. They throttle forward with a determined level of force, yet they also sulkily drag their feet with a fuck-da-world teenage attitude. Yeah, maybe it's a locomotive flying off course and crashing into the nearby mud flaps. That's not a metaphor or a euphemism, but if it was it would probably be the dirtiest one ever published here.

Spit/Shine is the ram-shackling grand finale track off the Sydney group's brilliant debut album Go Home, which is out now on vinyl (with mp3 download voucher) via R.I.P Society.
