Ernest Ellis
I am The Beast

Update: (12:15) It turns out the music on I am The Beast is taken from a song called Pastel For Alum by Wollongong experimental beat-maker Russell W. You can give a listen to the Ellis-free instrumental over at Russ' MySpace. Thanks to Muscle 'n Flo for the tip-off.

Powered by a nice bass-heavy romp, I am The Beast travels along harmlessly enough, just like a pop-tickled romp of this nature should.

THEN... out of nowhere, the muffled, fuck-I-just-got-stabbed-in-the-heart vocals kick in and it sharply moves from 'rad' to 'marry me' quicker that you can say "Larry Coleman - rest in peace you crazy dwarf".

Taken from Ernie's fkkking amazing debut album Hunting, which is out sometime (?) later this month via Dew Process.
