PARTYNEXTDOOR
Wild Bitches

She took the corner way too fast. No drift. The whole weight of the hatchback sliding from one side to the other as we held on to anything/everything for support. For a second there it felt like we were gonna just tip right over. What a way to go. A radiator through the head on The Woronora Windees, Nelly's Greatest Hits blasting at a ridiculous level from the (probably stolen) Kenwood stereo and one of my BFFs in the backseat, an innocent party just hitching a ride. And, of course, that voluptuous/crazy girl at the wheel. The one I'm trying to work out if I'm "seeing" or not. She'd probably survive the crash too, those double-Ds operating as sufficient replacements for the non-existent airbags of her 1987 Toyota Corolla. But we didn't flip, didn't die and pulled up to the Woronora RSL in one piece. Never been so happy to see that old tin shed, the faded memorial garden and mould-stained tile entryway. Heavy make-out session followed, attribute that to relief at surviving the journey. Sorry mate, forgot it was a two-door, I'll let you out. Then she pulls out of the dirt carpark, all four wheels spinning. We politely wave her off. She's only 17 and 11 months and had her fake ID confiscated the night before at a night club. To be honest, I'm happy to get away from her for a while. Sink some $2.80 schooners, get drunk and tell the guys (again) how I'm "just seeing what happens" with that "fucking crazy bird".

Your ears are lying. It's not The Weeknd here, but his OVO replacement, who recently signed to Drake's label after him and The Weeknd had a little bit of a tiff. Interchangeable friends.

Wild Bitches features on PARTYNEXTDOOR's self-titled/debut mixtape, which has just dropped and available for stream/download via the OVO site.
