An innocent, child-like stroll through a daisy/opium rich field of dreams. Slow motion spaghetti western. Sunday afternoon blunt out, featuring Mr Long Island Ice-T, Coco Butta and Cypress Thrills. Or maybe an incomplete mission to the planet White Salsa Fever?
I'm still not 100% sure what to make of this song, the first single off Richard In Your Mind's new album My Volcano. On one hand, I enjoy the blissful brain-unwinding pace, yet it also seems a little lost and maybe even a bit incomplete. I'm assuming within the context of the record it'll all make more sense.
My Volcano is out on June 26, via Rice Is Nice.

Spod is not shit. Spod is the most talented person I've ever met and one of my best friends. He is a fucking incredible producer and he produced this RIYM album. You have no idea how many bands in Sydney (and beyond) ask him for advice on a regular basis because he is the nicest, most hardworking dude alive. If Spod was in every single band on the planet, the world would be a better place.
