The Stabs
The City

Melby trio, The Stabs, were instituted into the Pollyroids Hall Of Fame many many moonshines ago. Hard to describe and occasionally ear-bleedingly painful, they're undoubtedly one of the finest murky noise bands this country has ever birthed.

The legends over at Homeless Records recently announced that they'll be pressing their two LPs — 2006's Dirt and 2009's Dead Wood — on vinyl for the very first time. Both releases are limited to just 400 copies (each) and available for pre-order now via the Homeless Records Bandcamp.

For those unfamiliar, here's The City, an absolute bastard of a track which should give you some idea of the gutters and waterfalls The Stabby Boys have been seen chasing during their lifetime...

And here they are doing their furious live thing, performing No Hoper at Repressed Records back in 2009.
