Cornelius' stop start style of instrumental electronic music is probably not for everyone. The sparse yet lucious sounds that he creates can be frustrating for those that do not have the patience to endure it.

These people however are not worth talking about, as Sensuous is an absolute masterpiece. The attention to detail and varying music styles incorporated into the album making for an incredibly rewarding listen, with additional nuances being revealed on each listen.

The album is like a japanese video game soundtrack put through a blender, and evokes images of people jumping and changing direction in mid-air. Suddenly people with a Nintendo 64 are cool again... actually, they were always cool.
