This Kangaroo Is Gonna Blow Up Your Mind
Awesome video from a fella called Jeff Santos, which nicely captures all the wildness of Wednesday night's Annandale show.
Thanks to Pop Frenzy / Flukazoid for the heads up.
Also, here is Dan Boud's video from the show...
...and my own (iPhone!!) bad quality version...

Lil Wayne is going to jail in two days, still hasn't got any pussy since dental surgery
Following on from a crazy busy couple of weeks, including EIGHT root canals and SEVEN videos in one night, Weezy talks to MTV about not being able to keep up with his normal high volume of 'honey slaying'...
"This is a tragedy"

Die! Die! Die!
We Built Our Own Oppressors
"What a cunty rad tune, ay?"
"Yeah! Video is a bit 90s"
"Totes. Ratcat called, they wanna give someone a high five"
"Where is the bass player?"
"He's there. Just too tall to fit into frame"
From the band's upcoming (still untitled!) new album, which is due to be released sometime very very soon.
Update: (01/03) Album will be out in April in New Zealand via Flying Nun. No set Australian release date yet.
Prepare to have your weak little faces melted off. Again. Cunts.

DZ
DZ Ruined My Life Mini Doco
This lovely little doco, splicing together footage from DZ's off-the-fucking-chain live show with random behind the scenes tom foolery, highlights just how much of a wild twelve months it's been for the party-loving Brisbane duo.

The Strokes
Recording 2010 Album (Part 1)
A home video of the band starting work on their new album in New York and, besides the lack of the beautiful Mr Casablancas (holding the camera maybe?), they all seem to be in fairly high spirits.
Strokes drummer Fab Moretti recently told the BBC that the band were aiming to release the new record in September.

Frightened Rabbit
Nothing Like You
Nothing Like You is the second single from Frightened Rabbit's new album, The Winter Of Mixed Drinks (out March 6), and a clear front runner for Song Of The Year Twenty Ten.
You can catch Frightened Rabbit playing a FREE show TONIGHT at Beach Road Hotel in Bondi, alongside Sydney up-n-comers Cabins. Doors open at 7pm, with Frightened Rabbit taking to the stage about 10ish.

Islands
No You Don't
Have you ever wanted to see hipster hard throb Michael Cera act like a 'hard cunt' while miming along to a deliciously over-the-top psychedelic pop song about drugs?
Well, the wait is over...
No You Don't is the latest single off Islands' 2009 album Vapours.

Wedding Messages For Jonny
As some of you would already know, I got married about a month ago. Chief Editor and head of our Euro Department Mike Punch was the best man and, in an attempt to foil our strict 'no presents' policy, he organised a bunch of my favourite musicians to record special little wedding messages. The results are fairly spine-tinglingly lovely.
Thanks to all the people who appear in this video for their kind words. Also a big thanks to SPOD and the Talons boys for performing a special little (love) song for me at the bux day/night (which just so happened to coincide with the Talons album launch), as well as to Julez from Rice Is Nice for all her help organising stuff.

Jonathan Boulet
Community Service Announcement
The Predator EffectTM always looks lovely, even more so when it's backed by one of the year's most addictive pop songs.
Directed by New Zealand duo Special Problems.
Full disclosure: I currently do contract work for Modular Records, who will be releasing Boulet's self-titled debut on December 4.
